Today is the birth anniversary of the great Mahatma Gandhi and one is compelled to think what if Bapuji was alive today, how he would celebrate his birthday and whether he would actually celebrate it or not. While the great Indian dream of his has gone down the drain, thanks to our politicians, even the rise in corruption and injustice might give him a heart attack. While he advocated non violence and the path of truth, perhaps two lines with the first person he meets will give him a shock that will take ages to recover. It is not to discourage the mahatma to come to today’s world but it is a question of truth that many will find embarrassing to answer if he were to come and ask us. Missing you Bapu ji…
